Far More Podcast
The Far More Podcast is where Jason & Liz open up and talk about marriage, parenting, faith, family and how God wants far more for our lives than we can even think or imagine. They talk about where they struggle, where they get things right and where they're working to be better. There will be lots of laughs but they promise to also be authentic because at the end of the day, they are messy and broken and deeply in need of grace. Come on this journey with them!

Ep 007: I think I might have breast cancer
In this deeply emotional episode of the Far More Podcast, Jason and Liz look back on her breast cancer journey in 2013-2014 which actually began with her sadly experiencing a miscarriage.
Jason gets real about how he felt during this time and Liz shares how her faith is really what got the both of them through such a difficult season...
But surprise, we're going to have a baby, too! Having breast cancer while pregnant wasn't very common at this time, so the doctors really didn't know what to do, but they got it figured out and Liz had a lumpectomy while pregnant and went through chemotherapy treatments while pregnant.
Liz was diagnosed with HER2+, triple negative DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) and it was only at stage zero, but by the time they performed the lumpectomy, it had progressed to stage one. She was treated at the amazing West Cancer Center in Germantown, TN and is so grateful for the brilliant oncologists and the kind and caring nurses who work in the Infusion Center, where chemotherapy is administered.
